To provide sign-in, we store your email address, a password hash and session records on our server. Essential protected cookies keep you signed in; sessions expire after seven days and can be renewed during use. Security records may include an IP address and browser information. Account records are separate from usage analytics.
Your inputs
Scenarios are stored in this browser’s local storage. Usage analytics does not transmit names, scenario IDs, income or wealth figures, or form inputs.
Usage measurements
We count public-page views, 30 seconds of visible engagement, button and onward-link clicks using predefined labels, map interactions and completed setup steps. We also record language, a broad mobile/desktop category and a category for the referring website, such as search or direct access. We do not store referrer URLs, search queries or URL parameters in analytics.
Performance and retention
Browser measurements of loading, interaction and layout stability help improve the site. ClickHouse on our server stores these events by day and the dimensions described here, without visitor or session identifiers or IP addresses in the analytics dataset. Retention is 90 days, with deletion during database merges. Earlier aggregate counters are preserved separately.
Your choices
Analytics uses no analytics cookies or cross-device identifiers. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals when sent by your browser. A language preference may be saved separately in a cookie. You can remove local scenarios by clearing this site’s browser data.
Operation and contact
Your browser necessarily sends connection information to our server when accessing the site. Webserver logs are separate from the usage analytics described above and may contain IP addresses. The operator is Light and Dark Energy Ltd; company details are provided in the terms of use.
