Skilled worker / EU Blue Card is a residence route in Germany (Työ). Recognised qualification + job offer; Blue Card 2026 salary ≥ ~€50,700 (shortage/new entrants ~€45,934); settlement after 21–27 months (Blue Card) or 3 yrs (skilled worker). Fees: visa €75 + permit €100 per adult (half for children).

Requirements at a glance

You need an annual income of about CHF 47'658. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 2 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
