Residence Permit

Residence Permit is a residence route in Trinidad and Tobago (Muu). Immigration Act s.6: discretionary permanent residence for spouses/dependants of citizens or residents, and persons with ≥5 yrs continuous lawful residence (e.g. on work permits). No investor or retiree scheme.

Requirements at a glance

Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 8 years.

Worldwide if domiciled; remittance basis otherwise.
