Temporary Residence – Economic Solvency is a residence route in Mexico (경제적 자립). Net income ≥680 UMA days/month (MXN 79,771 in 2026) for 6 months, OR avg. balance ≥11,460 UMA (MXN 1,344,373) over 12 months; +~220 UMA/month per dependant. Apply at consulate, card at INM within 30 days. 1-yr card, then renew up to 4 yrs total. Gov fees ~MXN 12,400/person (visa + card).

You need an annual income of about CHF 41'200. There is no minimum stay to keep the permit. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 4 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
