Work Permit is a residence route in St Kitts & Nevis (Emprego). Employer-sponsored work permit from the Labour Department; self-employed owners of local businesses can also apply; annual fee scaled by occupation (several thousand XCD)

Tax residence in St Kitts & Nevis

183 days in calendar year, or domicile/ordinary residence (home + regular presence)

Citizenship by investment alone ≠ tax residence; no tax on foreign income

Residence certificate: IRD letter on request: local address, TIN (via driver licence), presence evidence

Your previous country applies its own residence tests separately. If both countries treat you as resident, the applicable tax treaty may resolve treaty residence.
