Work Residence is a residence route in El Salvador (Emprego). Employment contract with Salvadoran employer, Labour Ministry work permit, apostilled police record; fee ~US$140/yr.
Requirements at a glance
You must spend about 90 days a year in the country to keep it. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
How holders are taxed
Salvadoran salary taxed up to 30%; foreign income exempt.
