Temporary Residence is a residence route in Paraguay (Bağımsız gelir). Passport, apostilled birth cert & police record, health cert issued in PY, local address; no fixed minimum income for temporary stage. Conversion to permanent (DNM Res. 407/2026, from 6 Jul 2026) needs documented real income/activity (RUC usually). Gov fees ~US$400/person.

You must spend about 1 days a year in the country to keep it. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 2 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 5 years.
