Work permit (incl. EU Blue Card) is a residence route in Sweden (İstihdam). Job offer on collective-agreement terms; since 1 Jun 2026 salary ≥90% of median (SEK 33,390/month; ~20 occupations 75%); health insurance for permits ≤1 yr. Blue Card up to 4 yrs. Fee ≈SEK 2,200 + family SEK 1,500/750.

Requirements at a glance

You need an annual income of about CHF 34'260. Spouse and children can usually be included. Permanent residence: after 5 years. Citizenship can be possible after about 8 years.

Worldwide income; expert tax (expertskatt): 25% of pay exempt for up to 7 yrs for qualifying high-earning recruits.
