Digital Nomad Provisional Identity Permit is a residence route in Uruguay (デジタルノマド). Online application after arrival; sworn statement of remote work for foreign clients and sufficient means (no formal minimum, ~US$1,500/mo advisable); police record, vaccination cert. 180 days + one 180-day renewal (fee ~UI 56). Each family member applies; can switch to residency.
